Fifteen people were arrested Wednesday in Franklin County on drug charges as part of a police investigation that started in August 2009 and ended in March, according to Kentucky State Police.
State police and Frankfort police attempted to serve 47 arrest warrants on 33 people as a result of the investigation. Undercover drug investigators spent about $15,000 to buy cocaine, crack cocaine, ecstasy pills, prescription medicine and marijuana.
On Wednesday, 15 of the 33 people were arrested and charged. They are being held at the Franklin County jail.
