An arrest was made Friday in Georgia in connection to the slaying of a 19-year-old Kentucky State University student, according to WKYT-27.
On June 13, Wali Clanton was at a pool party south of Atlanta when he was shot to death, the Associated Press reported.
The Fayette County Sheriff's Department in Georgia arrested Terrence Kyreef Montgomery Jr., 18, of Atlanta and charged him with felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, WKYT reported.
Four other people were shot at the pool party, according to the Associated Press. All suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
