Frankfort police are investigating the death of a man in his 50s as a homicide, a spokesman said Friday afternoon.
The man's identity was not released pending notification of relatives, Frankfort police Maj. Rob Warfel said.
A neighbor found the man's body about 1:15 p.m. Friday inside the victim's apartment on Deepwood Drive.
Warfel declined to say how the man died, only that "evidence at the scene leads us to believe it was a homicide."
Police said the man apparently lived alone.
Deepwood Drive is near the U.S. 60 overlook of the state Capitol building.
