A second person has died of injuries from crash on U.S. 27 in Jessamine County last week.
James Brafford, 72, of Nicholasville, died Sunday afternoon at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, according to a news release from the Fayette County coroner's office.
Brafford was the driver of an SUV that collided with a Volvo while turning left from U.S. 27 into the BP station at Catnip Hill Road on Oct. 18, Nicholasville police officer Alexus Jones said.
A passenger in Brafford's vehicle, Carol Sue Huff, 53, of Nicholasville, died at the scene.
Jones said the injuries to the occupants of the Volvo were not thought to be life-threatening.
