NICHOLASVILLE — An assistant county attorney in Jessamine County has been charged with driving under the influence.
Jackie Horn-Holt, 38, of Wilmore was arrested early Sunday morning after a police officer saw a Toyota speeding on U.S. 68, according to a report filed in Jessamine District Court.
Horn-Holt's blood-alcohol was 0.119, according to court documents. The legal limit is 0.08.
Wilmore Police Officer Jeff Bol wrote in the report that he stopped the vehicle by the Y Grocery at U.S. 68 and Ky. 29.
He wrote that Horn-Holt showed impairment and failed all field sobriety tests.
She was charged with DUI, speeding 7 mph over the limit and driving improperly on the left side of the road. She was arrested at 3:45 a.m. Sunday.
She was taken to the Jessamine County jail and released on a $500 bond shortly after 9 a.m. Sunday. Her first appearance in court had not been scheduled as of Tuesday.
