NICHOLASVILLE — A Nicholasville man is charged with possessing child pornography as a result of an investigation by the Kentucky Attorney General's Office.
Robert A. Walker, 40, was arrested Thursday and charged with four counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. That is a class D felony punishable by one to five years in prison.
Investigators with the Cybercrimes Unit of the attorney general's office executed a search warrant at Walker's house on Thursday. He was later taken into custody by Jessamine County deputy sheriffs.
Walker was convicted in 1995 of third-degree sexual abuse for having sex with a 15-year-old girl, according to a release from the attorney general's office.

Walker remains in the Jessamine County jail in lieu of a $50,000 full-cash bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Jessamine District Court.
