A man turned himself into a Jessamine County sheriff's deputy Tuesday morning to face an attempted murder charge after shots were fired at his wife, authorities said.
Brian Scott Blakeman, 36, was taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center, where he was held on a $150,000 bond, Chief Deputy Allen Peel said. Blakeman was charged with attempted murder domestic violence.
Blakeman turned himself in to Peel about 7:30 a.m. after a meeting was arranged on Nicholasville's South Main Street.
About 11 p.m. Monday, Blakeman allegedly fired shots at his wife at a home on Shelley Woods Road, Peel said. No one was injured. Blakeman wasn't at the home when deputies arrived.
Information wasn't immediately available on whether the shots were fired inside the house or how many shots were fired.
