The Nicholasville Planning Commission voted Tuesday night to approve a preliminary plat for Westgate subdivision off Wilmore Road, said planning director Greg Bohnett.
As described in records submitted to the commission, the 24 homes on 8 acres would be built just east of West Jessamine Middle School. The land was already zoned for single-family residential homes.
RCCB LLC had sought approval of the plat. Those involved in the venture are Robert D. Routt, Clay M. Corman and Charles Collins, all of Nicholasville, and Jimmie R. Banks of Wilmore, according to the Kentucky Secretary of State's Web site.
