Two Nicholasville men were indicted Wednesday on charges related to the 2008 death of Mark Dunn, 45.
David W. Peel, 34, is charged with murder and first-degree robbery. Peel and Odis D. Henson, 46, are both charged with second-degree arson and tampering with evidence in the killing of Dunn, according to a state police news release.
Dunn was found May 6, 2008, in his charred pickup truck on Hunter's Ferry Road in Jessamine County. He had been shot in the face before the vehicle was set on fire. Dunn was identified two days later with the help of dental records.
Peel and Henson were arrested and indicted Wednesday. Both were being held in the Jessamine County Detention Center.
In 2008, Dunn's wife, Paula Dunn, and sister, Anna Bell Long, remembered their relative as an engaging, music-loving man who had a passion for karaoke and selling used furniture.
