Thirty people were arrested in a drug roundup Thursday in Madison County, Sheriff Nelson O'Donnell said.
Most of the warrants were for trafficking offenses, and the arrests were made in Richmond and Berea.
Most of those charged remained Friday at the Madison County jail.
One person, Thomas Gentry, fled on foot when taken to the jail, but was caught after a short foot chase, O'Donnell said.
This was the second phase of a drug investigation that began in March and resulted in the arrests of 52 people in August, O'Donnell said. Yet another roundup will happen later this year.
