The man who robbed a bank in Richmond on Thursday is thought to be the same person who robbed a bank in Lexington about an hour earlier, police said. In each case, the robber wore glasses and a cap with a Nike "swoosh" logo.
Shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday, a man entered Chase Bank at 405 Leighway Drive and presented a note to the teller demanding money, Richmond police said.
The teller complied, and the robber left the bank with an undetermined amount of money.
The same man is thought to have robbed Fifth Third Bank at 2051 Pleasant Ridge Drive in Hamburg shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday. The suspect in that robbery walked out with an undisclosed amount of cash.
