Police in Richmond say that one of four men charged with kidnapping a woman Monday gave them a fake name.
The man told police his name was Marcus Rogers, but his real name is Erroll Foster Johnson, according to a news release.
Johnson is wanted in Detroit on three counts of assault with intent to murder, discharging a firearm in or at a building and a felony weapons violation.
Richmond police said authorities in Michigan plan to extradite Johnson, and a fugitive warrant has been served on him at the Madison County Detention Center.
Johnson and three others refused to let a woman who did not know them get out of a vehicle they were driving early Monday, police said. An officer stopped them at the Interstate 75 on-ramp at exit 90.
Another of the men, David West, 23, of Louisville, had been convicted of a felony in Louisiana, so police have added a charge of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
