A Lexington man was arrested and taken to the Scott County Detention Center on Wednesday on charges connected with the stabbing of three people in a domestic dispute last week.
Rogelio Lopex Purata, 39, is charged with three counts of first-degree assault and one count of first-degree burglary, according to a news release from the Kentucky State Police post in Frankfort.
Officers from the Scott County Sheriff's Office and state police responded to the Ponderosa Trailer Park on Reno Drive on Friday after receiving reports of a stabbing. When police arrived they found four people with stab wounds, including the Purata. All four were taken to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.
Purata was charged Tuesday and released from the hospital Wednesday.
Jeb Boyer, 35, and Martin Calixto, 36, of Georgetown, were released from the hospital, according to the release.
Michelle Rayes, 39, of Georgetown, remained in the hospital at the time the release was distributed, but a spokeswoman for the UK hospital said Rayes was not listed in the hospital directory Wednesday night.
