Nearly 3,000 in Woodford and Fayette counties were still without electricity Monday morning after Sunday night storms moved through the area, according to KU's outage map.
The outages were widely scattered in Fayette and Woodford, with dozens of incidents affecting small numbers of residents, KU reported. Tree limbs were blamed in some of the outages.
As of about 7:45 a.m., Fayette had 1,206 KU customers without power while Woodford had 1,479. Jessamine reported 256 without power.
