The Fayette County coroner's office has identified the two people killed in Wednesday afternoon's crash on Versailles Road.
Logan Hayes, 19, of Woodford County, and Christopher Sterry, 18, of Lexington died in the crash, the coroner's office said.
Hayes and Sterry were in a Honda that crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Hyundai about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday on Versailles Road near Terrace View Drive, police said.
Another person from the Honda and a female from the Hyundai were taken to a hospital with injuries after the wreck, which shut down traffic on Versailles Road for several hours.
