A woman was injured early Monday in a Lexington shooting when she and her husband met with a group of people to sell a moped, according to police.
Officers were called to the 300 block of Georgetown Street at 5:37 a.m. for a shooting, according to police. Shortly after, the wounded woman was dropped off at a local hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life threatening.
The woman and her husband told investigators that as they tried to sell the moped, a fight broke out and shots were fired while people fled, according to police.
As of early Monday afternoon, no arrests had been made and no suspect information had been released.
