A Nicholasville man was arrested Tuesday on several felony charges after he allegedly pointed a gun at a woman last week, Jessamine County Chief Deputy Sheriff Allen Peel said.
Roger Bowlin, 50, was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possessing and distributing explosives without a permit.
Deputies, assisted by agents with the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, conducted an authorized search at Bowlin’s home on Kissing Ridge Road near the Pollard community in southeastern Jessamine County.
Peel said at least 17 guns were seized, including two sawed-off shotguns, and blasting caps.
Bowlin was being held in the Jessamine County jail in Nicholasville. He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Jessamine District Court.
He pleaded guilty last year to a felony theft charge, according to Jessamine court records.
