Three unrestrained children were killed Saturday night and a fourth was taken to a hospital in critical condition when a woman lost control of her car on Ky. 56 in Daviess County.
Hunter Glass, 10, and Sierra Morris, 13, died at the scene, and Alexandra Glass, 12, died at the hospital, according to a news release by Kentucky State Police.
Catherine Glass, 7, was taken to Kosair Hospital in Louisville, where she was listed in critical condition Monday morning, according to police. None of the four were wearing seat belts.
Laurie Swanson, 32, the driver, swerved to miss an oncoming car that had drifted into her lane. She then overcorrected and lost control, driving the vehicle into a bean field, according to police.

Jonathan Morris, 18, Derrick Glass Jr., 14, and Georgianna Swanson, 1, also were in the car but survived the crash, along with the driver. The driver and other three passengers were wearing seat belts.
The driver and passengers were from Owensboro.
