A Lexington man was indicted Monday for allegedly kidnapping and raping a mentally disabled girl.
The charges against Walker Robert Wright Jr. include kidnapping, unlawful transaction with a minor, third-degree rape and second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor. Court documents say he raped the 15-year-old and smoked crack cocaine with her in June.
During an examination on June 23 at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, the girl told investigators Wright, 46, approached her June 19 on Sixth Street, telling her he would give her money, clothing and a place to live, the documents said. Wright took the girl to The Sportsman Hotel, 1107 Winchester Road, and had sex with her, the documents said.
During the investigation, officers obtained surveillance video that showed a four-door gray car arriving at the hotel, a girl getting out of the rear passenger side door, and three men and the girl going into a hotel room.

Wright is being held in the Fayette County jail on a $52,700 full cash bond. Arraignment is scheduled Sept. 3.
