A man was shot in the face Wednesday night in Fleming County, and the suspect later turned himself in to police.
Norman Jaussen, 54, of Hillsboro was shot as neighbor Jonathan Maze, 34, of Hillsboro was leaving his house on South Lick Road, according to a news release by Kentucky State Police.
Maze had gone to Jaussen's house for an unknown reason, and as he left, he fired several shots with a shotgun before running into a nearby wooded area, according to police.
He was arrested after turning himself in to the Fleming County Sheriff's Department, according to a report by WKYT.

He faces charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to police.
Jaussen was flown to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition, according to police.
