Lexington police arrested a man on charges that he burglarized a Lexington fire station.
Jason D. Allen, 41, is charged with second-degree burglary after he was found inside a fire station, police said.
Firefighters at Fire Station 2 on New Circle Road had been dispatched on a run Thursday afternoon, and when they came back, they found a man in the station, Battalion Chief Joe Best said.
After the firefighters talked to the man, he ran, Best said. Firefighters followed, trying to keep sight of him.
