A Cincinnati man has been charged with murder and first-degree assault in connection with a June shooting that killed a Lexington man and three left others injured.
Tyjuan D.L. Pearson, 24, was arrested Friday and lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
Police say he shot Dwayne K. Johnson Jr., 20, outside the Pak-n-Save at Third and Race streets about 3:35 a.m. June 13. Johnson was taken to the University of Kentucky Hospital, where he later died.
Three others — Anthony Burnett, Jamaur Yocum and Karlan Morton — were also wounded in the shooting.
Anyone with information is asked to call Lexington police at 258-3600.
