PARIS — A Paris man is in jail after police found four explosive devices in the home where he lived with his mother.
Justin Wade, 22, was charged Wednesday with four counts of possession of destructive devices and one count of first-degree wanton endangerment, Paris Police Chief Tim Gray said.
Paris police responded to 528 Meadowview Drive on Wednesday afternoon after receiving a call from Wade's mother.
When police arrived, Angela Wade said her son had been making threats toward her and that he had explosive devices in the house, Gray said. A search found gunpowder, piping and fuses.

The Wades were evacuated from their house, and Paris police called the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms as well as bomb squads from Lexington and Kentucky State Police.
Police eventually removed four explosive devices from the house. No other residents in the area were evacuated.
Justin Wade was lodged in the Bourbon County jail.
