GLASGOW — A Glasgow woman was arrested Saturday in the hit-and-run death of a toddler who walked into the street.
Barren County Sheriff's office arrested Lori A. Ikner, 38, Friday night. She was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid or assistance.
According to the sheriff's department, 23-month-old Shayla Marie Wooten was struck and killed Monday by a white van on U.S. 68.
The toddler had gotten out of the family car and followed her father into the street as he checked the mailbox.
