Lexington police were searching Thursday for a man who robbed a motel earlier this month.
On April 6, the man entered the lobby of Motel 6 at 2260 Elkhorn Road and asked about room rates. He then jumped over the counter and demanded money from two employees at gunpoint. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Neither clerk was injured.
The robber appeared to be in his 20s and approximately 5-foot-11. He had a thin build and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a white cloth on his head, dark baggy jeans and a dark T-shirt inscribed with the words "Ed Hardy."
