A Lexington man who has admitted setting fire to an apartment complex in April was indicted Tuesday by a Fayette County grand jury.
Brandon Dockery, 20, was indicted on one count of first-degree arson, four counts of attempted murder and 19 counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
Dozens of residents of Parkway Apartments at 1123 Centre Parkway were left homeless after the April 15 fire.
Investigators have said the blaze was set after an argument between Dockery and others in one of the apartments.
The indictment says Dockery tried to kill Jessica Matthews, Michael Matthews, Michael Matthews Jr. and Steve Matthews. The wanton endangerment charges against Dockery involve 19 other individuals who were at the apartment complex during the fire.
Dockery, who has been held at the Fayette County jail on a $247,500 full-cash bond, is scheduled to be arraigned in Fayette Circuit Court on June 17.
