A 22-year-old women could be arraigned as early as Monday on a murder charge in the stabbing death of a London man on Christmas Day.
Roi Collett was arrested shortly after the incident Saturday morning at an apartment she apparently had shared with the victim, Christopher Lee Allen. Collett is being held in the Laurel County Jail.
London Police Chief Stewart Walker said officers were sent to the apartment on Whitley Street just before 10:30 a.m. Saturday after police received a call about a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived to find Allen in the yard outside the apartment, Walker said. He said Allen apparently had gone to or was attempting to go a building next door.
Allen had been stabbed in the chest, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Laurel County coroner's office, according to Walker.

Witnesses told police that Allen and Collett had been arguing before the incident.
Walker said officers questioned Collett and placed her under arrest.
Police recovered a number of knives at the apartment, and an investigation into the case is continuing, Walker said.
