A Lancaster man who was wanted on warrants in seven Central Kentucky counties was arrested Wednesday night in Lexington.
Paul David Brown, 31, was taken into custody at 10:15 p.m. outside a local gas station, according to a news release.
State police had received information that Brown was staying in Lexington, so officers, along with agents from the U.S. Marshal's Service, started keeping an eye on multiple locations.
Several state police officers followed an acquaintance of Brown to the Speedway at Nicholasville and Larkin roads, where they spotted Brown in the parking lot.

Brown scuffled with officers before they took him into custody, according to a news release.
He was charged with resisting arrest and served with warrants on a number of outstanding charges. Brown is wanted in connection with several vehicle thefts and burglaries in Central Kentucky, state police said.
Lexington police helped in the arrest.
