A Clay County man with a long criminal record has been sentenced to 30 years in prison on drug and gun offenses, U.S. Attorney Kerry B. Harvey's office announced Tuesday.
Tony Taylor, 52, was convicted of distributing a variety of drugs, including marijuana, cocaine, prescription pills and a large amount of methamphetamine, according to a news release.
He also was convicted of illegally possessing three guns.
Taylor was classified as an armed career criminal. He had five prior felony convictions and a criminal record stretching back more than 30 years, according to Harvey's office.
