A Lexington man died early Monday in a motorcycle crash on off Man o' War Boulevard.
Police said Jamaal B. Maddox, 35, was traveling on the inner loop of Man o' War about 1:45 a.m. when he lost control of his 2007 Suzuki Boulevard, slid off the road and struck a light pole, according to a news release. A news release said Maddox was traveling "at a high rate of speed."
Maddox was taken to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No one else was involved in the crash. The news release did not say whether Maddox was wearing a helmet.
