LONDON — A Leslie County man was sentenced Tuesday to 133 months in prison and a lifetime of supervised release for receiving thousands of child pornography images, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Michael Caldwell, 42, received 4,950 child pornography images.
According to the release, the investigation started when an international Web site hosted in the Netherlands was hacked. The hackers posted images of child pornography on the Web site, and Caldwell downloaded an image from the site which involved a blindfolded child being sexually exploited.
Caldwell will have to serve at least 85 percent of his prison sentence and will have to register as a sex offender when he's released from prison.
