A Lexington woman was taken to the hospital after allegedly being stabbed by her boyfriend early Friday morning.
The woman walked into the Thornton's gas station at the corner of Loudon Avenue and North Broadway about 2:15 a.m. and asked for help, Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said.
"She said her boyfriend had stabbed her, but she was able to get away," Roberts said.
Roberts did not identify the woman or her boyfriend. No one had been charged as of Friday morning.
