State police caught two men who escaped from a prison in Bell County late Sunday, according to a news release.
Jonah Robey, 21, and Jordan Pannell, 20, were apprehended after a short chase in Hardin County.
The two allegedly walked away from the Bell County Forestry Camp late Saturday evening.
Robey was serving a seven-year sentence for burglary. Pannell was serving more than six years for robbery, state police said.
After escaping from the forestry camp, the two men allegedly broke into a house nearby and stole a 45-caliber pistol and a 1977 Corvette.
The two have been charged with receiving stolen property. Additional charges are pending.
