An Estill County man pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court to charges that he exchanged videos of child pornography with a minor.
Robert Emmanuel Evans, 40, admitted to one count of receiving child pornography and one count of distributing child porn, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky. He faces up to five years in prison.
Between August of 2010 and February 2011, he exchanged videos with the minor; some of the videos featured children younger than 12 years old, the release said.
He was arrested after the FBI in Lexington received a tip and conducted a search at his house in Irvine.
Evans admitted to having child pornography on his computer. A forensic examination of the computer turned up "numerous videos and photographs," the release said.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Dec. 12.
