Two Jackson County men face charges of arson and wanton endangerment in connection with a suspicious house fire that happened Aug. 31, Kentucky State Police said Tuesday.
Nicholas Bryant and Robert Johnson, both 18, were each charged with second-degree arson and first-degree wanton endangerment, state police said in a release. Johnson was arrested Tuesday, and Bryant was arrested Monday.
They were charged in connection with one of two suspicious house fires reported Aug. 31 in McKee, said Trooper Paul Blanton, spokesman for the state police post in Richmond.
The fires were investigated by state police Detective Pat Alford.

The two men were lodged in the Jackson County Detention Center. Bryant has a $10,000 cash bond. Johnson, who is also charged with receiving stolen property and tampering with physical evidence, has a bond of $12,500.
