A London man died Thursday night in a single-car crash, the Laurel County Sheriff's Office said in a release.
Douglas L. Peek, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene by Laurel County Coroner Doug Bowling.
Peek was driving a red four-door Chrysler north on U.S. 25 when the car went off the right shoulder, skidded about 350 feet through a yard, and struck a tree, the release said.
The crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday about three miles south of London.
Peek was not wearing a seat belt. It was unclear why the car went off the road.
