Funeral services have been scheduled for a Mercer County teenager who died in a car crash Friday afternoon.
Visitation for Alyssa D. Kelty, 17, will be at 5 p.m. Monday at Southside Christian Church. Funeral services will be at the church at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
According to police, Kelty lost control of her Chevy Cobalt on U.S. 68 west of Harrodsburg. The car crossed the center line and collided with a GMC Denali driven by Shannon Dean. Kelty was pronounced dead at the scene .
She was a student and cheerleader at Mercer County Senior High School. Her father is Mercer County Sheriff Ernie Kelty.
Dean and two children riding with her were treated and released at a Harrodsburg hospital.
Arrangements are being handled by the Randell Funeral Chapel.
