A methamphetamine lab was uncovered in a Lexington neighborhood on Monday afternoon, and one woman was arrested for manufacturing the drug.
Officers executing a search warrant at the home at about 4 p.m. found the small meth lab in a duplex at 2509 Lindenhurst Loop, said Lt. Mark Brand. Lindenhurst Loop is near Palumbo Drive outside Man o' War Boulevard.
Brand said he did not have the name of the woman who was arrested at the scene.
Hazardous materials workers from the Lexington Fire Department set up a decontamination tent to wash people who were inside the duplex who had come into contact with the hazardous chemicals.
