A man who had his head pinned between a tractor-trailer and a building was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital on Monday.
The man, identified by WKYT as Eddie Brannock, was listed in critical condition Monday night.
The incident happened at about 6:45 a.m. at xpedx at 1700 Fortune Court, said Lexington police Lt. Chris Van Brackel.
The man was looking out of a loading bay while talking to someone as the tractor-trailer was backing in, Van Brackel said.
Although witnesses said the semi was beeping as it backed up, the man must not have realized how close it was, Van Brackel said. His head was pinned between the wall and the trailer.
The man had been freed by the time emergency responders arrived, said Battalion Chief Harold Hoskins of the Lexington Fire Department.
