Danville police are investigating a Wednesday morning bank robbery.
No one was hurt when the U.S. Bank on Fourth Street was robbed shortly before 11 a.m., Danville Police Chief Tony Gray said.
The robber did not show a weapon, and after he left, he walked across the street and through the rear parking lot of Central Kentucky Federal Savings Bank. An undetermined amount of cash was taken.
The robber was described as a black man wearing a blue polo shirt, white pants, black shoes and a white cap with a blue bill.
Never miss a local story.
The robber's method was similar to that in some unsolved robberies in Lexington, suggesting that "there could be a connection," Gray said. "We have already contacted and consulted" with Lexington police.
