Man refuses to testify against brother charged with gay hate crime

LONDON — The brother of a man accused of attacking a gay Letcher County resident because of his sexual orientation went to jail Monday rather than testify as a prosecution witness. Alex Jenkins, 18, told U.S. District Judge Gregory F. Van Tatenhove that he could not testify against his older brother, Anthony Jenkins.
