A Pike County woman who was inhaling fumes from a cleaning product while driving ran off the road and hit a Subway restaurant, injuring an employee, according to Kentucky State Police.
Toma Williamson, 55, of Belfry was charged with driving while impaired, having no insurance or driver's license and failing to wear a seat belt, police said in a news release.
Williamson was inhaling fumes from a product used to clean computer keyboards as she drove on U.S. 23 in the Caney community, police said.
Her vehicle ran off the road, hit a parked vehicle and struck the restaurant. A Subway employee received treatment at Pikeville Medical Center for minor injuries she suffered in the crash, police said.
The crash happened about 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
