A Lawrence County man was sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty Friday to child pornography charges, according to the Kentucky Office of the Attorney General.
Thomas Meade, 51, of Blaine, pleaded guilty in Lawrence Circuit Court to one count of distributing child pornography and four counts of possessing child pornography.
Meade was indicted in December 2012 following an undercover investigation by Attorney General Jack Conway's Cybercrimes Unit that began in January 2009. An examination of Meade's computer revealed more than 100 child pornographic images and videos.
Conway's Office of Special Prosecutions handled the case at the request of the Lawrence County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office.
