A Johnson County man has been indicted on multiple counts of possessing child pornography.
Kevin King, 22, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the Johnson County Sheriff's Department, according to a news release from the state attorney general's office.
The investigation began in December 2012. The state attorney general's cybercrimes unit and sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at King's home and seized computers which had on them "more than 3,000 images depicting the sexual exploitation of children," according to the release.
King is charged with four counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, a Class D felony. Each count is punishable by one to five years in prison.
