An escapee from a minimum-security prison in Bell County has been arrested near Somerset.
Sheriff's deputies said they arrested Joshua Aaron Woodall on Wednesday in the company of his wife in the Tateville area of Pulaski County.
The Pulaski County Sheriff's Department said officers learned that Woodall had met his wife, Adrienne Eggers Woodall, 25, in Somerset and that they were driving a maroon Chevrolet.
Woodall, 29, was arrested after deputies spotted the car on U.S. 27 at Tateville, the sheriff's department said. Officers said they found 23 oxycodone pills and $70 in cash in the vehicle.
Woodall was serving a sentence at the Bell County Forestry Camp for burglary and stolen property charges when he escaped, according to authorities.
Pulaski officials charged Woodall with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He was turned over to officials from the Bell County Forestry Camp to face escape charges.
Adrienne Eggers Woodall also was charged with trafficking and was being held in the Pulaski County jail.
