A Lexington man was killed late Wednesday in Laurel County after a car pulled out in front of his motorcycle, according to a news release from Laurel County Sheriff John Root.
Randolph Scott, 71, was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle north on U.S. 25 when a woman driving a Dodge Neon pulled from a side road and into his path.
Scott was flown to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, and he died about 11:30 p.m., according to the news release.
The woman who was driving the car ran into the woods off Hazel Patch Road and had not been located by Thursday afternoon.

The wreck happened just before 6 p.m., about nine miles north of London.
