A Harlan County man was killed in a two-vehicle collision Sunday night.
James Osborne, 69, was traveling southbound on U.S. 421 at 9 p.m. in a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier when Clifton Jeffers' Chevrolet Impala crossed over from the northbound lane, colliding with Osborne's car, according to Kentucky State Police.
Osborne died at the scene. His passenger, Jim Gray, 43, was taken to Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital and later was flown to Holsten Valley Medical Center in Tennessee.
Jeffers, 79, was flown to Holsten Valley Medical Center in Tennessee, the state police news release said.
The collision remains under investigation.
