Two people died in a wreck Tuesday night in McCreary County.
Palace O. Anderson, 68, and Samuel L. Anderson, 47, of Strunk, were traveling south on U.S. 27 in a 2002 Buick LeSabre when Shea A. Coffey of Stearns, who was traveling north in a 2004 Cheverolet Trailblazer, crossed over the center line and collided with the Buick, according to state police.
Palace Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene. Samuel Anderson was airlifted to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where he died. Coffey, 29, was also airlifted to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Those involved in the wreck were not wearing seat belts, state police said.
