The Fayette County coroner's office has identified the man found dead in a car Monday night as Alejandro Dominguez-Hernandez, 23.
He was pronounced dead at 8:25 p.m. after being found with multiple gunshot wounds in the back seat of a four-door sedan parked on the side of Johnston Road, Coroner Gary Ginn's office said Tuesday. Police were called at 7:31 p.m. Monday about a shooting victim in a vehicle, Ginn and police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said.
Johnston Road runs between Bryan Station Road and Paris Pike.
The coroner's office said it's unclear how long Dominguez-Hernandez had been in the car.

Meanwhile, Lexington police said Tuesday morning that they have no suspects in Lexington's second homicide of 2015 and are looking for leads in the case.
Roberts said anyone who saw or heard anything, or anyone with information connected to the shooting, is asked to call police at (859) 258-3600.
Roberts declined to discuss whether police have identified who owns the car in which Dominguez-Hernandez was found, or whether they have interviewed the owner. The car has been impounded as evidence, she said.
She also declined to say whether the victim was shot on Johnston Road, or was shot somewhere else and driven there.
"There is no way to answer that question at this point," she said. "This is still very much an active investigation."
Roberts said she didn't know whether anyone in the Johnston Road area had reported hearing gunshots.
Johnston Road, which runs between Bryan Station Road and Paris Pike, is in an area surrounded by horse farms. There are few homes nearby.
"Certainly if anyone has any information, we would definitely want to hear from them," Roberts said. "We are at the point where we have limited information, and we need people to call us."
