A 55-year-old Rockcastle County man was killed in a house fire early Tuesday morning, and Kentucky State Police are investigating.
Foul play is not suspected, but the cause of the fire has not been determined, according to state police at the Richmond post.
Authorities said an arson investigator and a detective discovered the body of Morris Cromer of Mount Vernon in the bedroom of a home on Low Gap Road.
State police had been notified of the fatal fire just before 8 a.m. Tuesday.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday in Frankfort, state police said.
Fire departments from a number of Rockcastle County communities went to the scene, according to police.
